Anonymous usage logging

To understand how the dashboard is used and to keep it working, we log a small amount of anonymous usage data when you visit a page. This includes:

This is not tied to your name or identity, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Information you give us in forms

If you submit the contact form or request a free sample brief, we collect the details you provide — your name and email, plus any message text. We use this information only to respond to you — to reply to your question or to send the sample brief you asked for.

Subscription payments (if you subscribe to the $5/mo brief) are handled by Stripe under its own privacy terms; we never see or store your card details.

About the crash data

The incident figures shown in this tool are built entirely on public NHTSA data — the Standing General Order (SGO 2021-01) Automated Driving System crash reports, supplemented by public California DMV data. None of it relates to you as a visitor.
